Both revival and refuge—S M I L E R S is a space for art, music, and play for those who seek the demented spirits of spontaneous behavior and untethered creativity. Born of friendship and resistance to the contemporary forces that be, S M I L E R S knows not fully what it is but knows what it is not: neither spectacle nor scene. On hallowed ground we rise.
