SMALL WORLD! artist, Gao Hang, will join Brian Droitcour in a conversation hosted by S M I L E R S both IRLxONLINE.

Droitcour is a New York-based critic, curator, and the director of Outland, a non-profit organization dedicated to digital art and technology. The pair will discuss Hang’s practice, videogames, contemporary art, the impact of digital media on painting+culture+++, and whatever else they wish❗Talk will end with a brief Q&A.

If you plan to join us IRL, the event will take place on the roof. Please arrive between 8:30 and 9PM; buzzer #4 is inaudible from outside, so text someone upstairs if you arrive late.

The 9-hole putt-putt course will be set up to view only until the talk concludes; some lite play will be available later on :)

Shout out to the other participating artist in this exhibition who is not able to join us—Igor Simić—whose videogame, Golf Club Wasteland, 2018/2021, was the inspiration behind this project.
